Most swim schools just teach children to learn to swim, but it’s common knowledge that if a child enjoys what they learn, they are likely to learn at a faster rate. Our affiliation with Rocky City Swimming Club means children not only learn to swim, but can choose swimming as a sport. They can then participate in club nights and race meets, both local and abroad.
We encourage our swimmers to participate in our Splash and Rocky City Club Nights. Our Splash Club Nights are mini race nights held on Friday nights during winter at Splash-A-Bout Swim School. These nights are all about having fun and using learn to swim skills to race against children of their own level.
Rocky City Club Nights are held at the CQUniversity Community Sports Centre pool during school terms 1, 3, and 4. They are a great way for Splash swimmers to advance their skills as well as participate in a team environment.
2019 Race Night Dates are coming soon!
